The following guide is applicable to both Tynetec XT1 and XT2, however there is a minor difference in that on XT2 you will need to enter manager mode before carrying out any of the steps below.
On XT2, you will not need to press * to enter manager mode.

Changing the time and date
SETTING THE SYSTEM TIME
1. Press * You will hear "Manager mode, ready" Now dial 2000 followed by the * key.
2. A message will announce the time (24 hour format)
3. If the time is correct press the # key to accept
4. If the time is incorrect; enter the new time (HHMM) in 24 hour format e.g. 1300 = 1PM followed by the * key
5. Press # followed by the LINE key to exit the mode.
SETTING THE SYSTEM DATE
1. Press * You will hear "Manager mode, ready" Now dial 2001 followed by the * key.
2. A message will announce the date
3. If the date is correct press the # key to accept
4. If the date is incorrect; enter the new date (DDMM) e.g. 0309 = 3rd September followed by the * key
5. Press # followed by the LINE key to exit the mode.
SETTING THE SYSTEM DAY & YEAR
1. Press * You will hear "Manager mode, ready" Now dial 2009 followed by the * key.
2. A message will announce the day number & year
3. If the day & year is correct press the # key to accept
4. If the day & year is incorrect, enter the new day and year (DDYY) e.g. 0118 = Monday 2018 followed by the * key
5. Press # followed by the LINE key to exit the mode.
